Which kernels have you tried? What patch did you use? What happened?
I have a 2.2.20 kernel package which works fine on our SS1000E. It
has a few patches (the printk stuff, a patch to make software raid
work, new microcode for the fc-soc-controller, ...) but let me know if
you want to give it a try.
