The problem comes when the version changes, and the diversion is
attempted. The original diversion is:

/usr/lib/gcc-lib/sparc-linux/3.0.2/cc1 -> cc1.32

and the upgrade tries to do:

/usr/lib/gcc-lib/sparc-linux/3.0.3/cc1 -> cc1.32

But this confuses the dpkg-divert program severely.
