on a i386 potato box i have no problem with ntpdate (i have it in crontab setting the time of the box to the time of a timeserver weekly) but when i want to do the same on my sparc potato box it gives an error ultra:~# ntpdate -u time.belnet.be 21 Aug 18.02.31 ntpdate[17956]: Can't adjust the time of day: Invalid argument any idea why this is ? is settimeofday() or adjtime() not available on sparc ? thanks in advance bruno (potato sparc on ultra 1 - 2.2.18pre21)
