I'v moved the repository to

   Vcs-Git: https://anonscm.debian.org/git/debian-science/packages/seaborn.git -b debian

I can confirm that I'm able to reproduce #850999 and #849368.

Ole (or somebody else in the team), do you want to have a look or should
we open an issue (issues) at upstream?
