As far as I can see this is at least unusual. From my (very limited!)
Git knowledge "master" should somehow point to HEAD and the releases are
just tagged "debian/<version>". As Radostan Riedel wrote in this thread
it could help the machine readable gather (which is the precondition to
let the package information propagate to the tasks page.

No problem. As you might have seen I have injected the ITP bug number
into the changelog - once the master branch exists this helps the
machine readable gatherer to detect the WNPP bug.
