Yes; this was the main reason to put it as ITP.

I am still a bit on the way to establish my workflow. In the moment, I use
* "upstream" for the original upstream package
* "upstream+dfsg" for upstream after repackaging (makes sense here since
it reduces the size to 10% and greatly simplifies the "copyright" file)
* "debian" as the Debian development branch
* "master" as the Debian release branch
Since there was still no release, "master" is empty. Checkout the
"debian" branch and the development version appears :-) -- just checked
at another computer. However, there is still not much except some
patches from the old (2001) attempt by Jens Schmalzig which I want to
check if they still apply.
