The bug[1] fixed by the commit that caused the ABI break is pretty serious -- all faac-generated files are rejected by Banshee. Considering that there is a relatively small number of rdeps involved (shouldn't take more than a day to clear), and all of them are maintained by the same team, I was hoping you could overlook this. If this is really not acceptable, then I guess I'll just have to ask users to enable experimental if they have such files.
