Mozilla and friends will be supported as long as their package
maintainer are able to backport patches from upstream.  Looking at
sarge, this works sufficiently well at the moment.  For details you
should ask pkg-mozilla-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org

Please go ahead.  I hope that no PHP installation we currently provide
has it turned on.
