 I /think/ this particular new version would help support newer ipods
 and/or ipods touched by itunes 7, which would definitely be a nice
 thing for etch.

 Even if we can't make it for etch, could you start with an upload to
 experimental so that maintainers can test their packages easily and
 even upload to experimental as well?
