Because anyone in that situation would disappear from the mailing list for
a few weeks/months, mourn the death of his family member and come back when he's
fine.
You choosed to mix your private life with your Debian one. It's your
call, but that doesn't make it more appropriate IMO.
Please stop referring to that to justify any of your action and please
assume your mistakes and try to learn of them.
