As you've seen by fsmla's answer, the Debian swirl may be used without
restrictions.
Since Debian is a volounteer organisation, it would be polite (and, besides,
would provide yet another argument for you to market your products) if you
would either
- donate a fixed amount per item sold to Debian or
- allow people buying an item to donate some amount to Debian.
I guess this list would be the right place to ask for details on payment
etc., in case you want to do that.
Again: there is no obligation to do so, the open use logo is not restricted.
