Re: First boot after fresh install fails



Hi Patrick,

Which install  method did you chose (cd, usb/live, net, etc.); and with which 
verbosity level (if you don't know let's assume default)?

I am just trying to get a bit more information so that others here, or myself 
can help you out a bit more.

It looks like the install is not so "faultless" and the partitioning and/or 
root file system is all messed up. 

If I understand you correctly, too, you are using the original Mac. 
bootloaders and doing dual boot into separate disk/partitions--Many a man 
(woman) would explain many advantages of scrapping that setup and going 100% 
debian :-D
