Hi, thanks for all your help everyone. I got it working and was able to edit my kboot.conf file so I can set my screen resolution to 720x480 which I think is max for all sdtvs. For a distro that is not really supported on the ps3 right out of the box, I am quite surprised at how well it seems to work. I hope someday to see the developers of debain intergrate all of teh packages and patches require to enable ps3 support of debain out of the box. Thanks everyone.
