Unable to mount root
Hi
haven not broken through this "wall" for eighteen hours now. nothing
I can think of makes any difference
I'm using BootX to open install hd-media on a "Wallstreet" Powerbook.
Continually, during boot, it stops at:
"cannot open root device "<NULL>" or unknown-block(8,1)
Please append a correct "root=" boot option
Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(8,1)"
Someone know what I need to do in BootX, or placement of hd-media files?
Thanks
R Charles Flickinger
