After discussion with ben, it seems that it may be possible to bring the
2.4 kernel down to floppy size. I don't have pmac hardware, and even
less oldworld hardware, so i am maybe not the right person for it, but
could you maybe try to build a .config that is acceptable, and which
brings the kernel down to floppy size again ? I can then try to generate
a new kernel-image for it. I will be splitting more kernel-image
packages nextly anyway (for chrp, prep and pmac, i don't know if there
are SMP chrp and preps though).
