Okay, bad etiquette in continually replying to myself.
Both of my problems have been submitted to BugTraq as
213533 : lost interrupts with pmac ide
492604 : adb bus freezes randomly with kernel 2.4
Funny thing is that the adb bus freeze appears to be a recent
development after install more RAM and adding a second
swap partition.
