As far as i can tell, it's preference. try them both, you should be able to pick
one or the other at the bootx prompt.

Are you sure the drive is ok ? I ran into serious scsi voodoo with my 4x
matshita cdrom. I've got a friend coming up in a few days with his, we plan on
trying that.
