Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone knew of a good tutorial on open firmware. I'm
trying to install Debian on a new Mac G4 and I don't think I'm even
telling the open firmware to start yaboot the right way. What I think
should work is:
> boot cd:,\\yaboot
this complains about size being 0. Next I tried:
> boot :cd:,\\yaboot
this looks like it's doing something but I can't tell what because it
flashes some text on the screen and then gives a broken monitor icon and
hangs.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
