The yaboot-HOWTO at penguinppc.org would be helpful. 

I think you want to leave off the \\ :

boot cd:,yaboot

But that's if yaboot is on the root level of the cd, which it's probably
not. Recent cd's I believe would need

boot cd:,/install/powermac/yaboot

or so.
