Hummm, while we're at it: I tried to keep my iBook running (basically as
an mp3 player), with the lid closed and powering all unneeded units
(airport, network, backlight) down.
giving pmud the -k option was easy. However, the laptop always powered off
after ~5min of "closed" operation. This was a hard power off, just like
pressinging the power key for 5s, so it finally made me switch to ext3
before i gave up...

Is that an undocumented feature of the PMU or maybe the result of
overheating?
