Hmmm. On many platforms, Linux supports running executables
from a different OS. For example:
x86 Xenix, OpenServer, UnixWare, Solaris (module needed)
alpha Tru64
sparc Solaris
One could add:
ppc Darwin
Then you have a drop-in replacement for that Mach+BSD crud,
and you can replace the sucky BSD tools as well. You get to
keep the Mac GUI and apps.
