X will work provided that you either 

 - Use the "UseFBDev" option in XF86Config
 - Enable APM emulation in the kernel & create /dev/apm_bios

Or do both :)

There are people already working on this AFAIK. The main problem for
now is the lack of a working I2C driver for the KeyLargo chipset.
