Indeed, you could do that... or I could finish adopting GDB :)  I just
got permission from the maintainer to take it; I'll be uploading a CVS
snapshot to unstable to simply replace 5.0, seeing as there's no
noticeable testsuite regressions or even usability regressions in my
experience.
