linux-apus.sourceforge.net should do the trick, please have a lock.

just add gunziup capacity to them then. :)))
Seriously, from what i understand, the linux kernel may be moved to a new box,
possibly on floppies, before doing the first install. And as thus, it may need
to be small and gzipping makes sense, don't you think ?
You could just ungzip them for use with quick yaboot if they don't support
gziped kernel. That said, i guess there are ore quick/yaboot users than apus
one, so ...
