not exactly, well strace will be available in some form, as all unix
variants tend to have it (truss on solaris, strace on linux, etc, I assume
Macos X will have whatever is available for FreeBSD or Mach things)

ltrace however is a linux tthing (alas), heck it was for a long time x86
linux only, Anton Blanchard recently got it working on ppc (thankyou Anton)
as for other architectures I dont know how many ltrace works on. But it is a
linux thing.

It would be possible to write ltrace for othe runix variants, however you
would have to know about the internals of the library systema nd executables
in a great detail, and be allowed to write it, the closed sourece unix
variants may or may not allow that, the *bsd's should be doable.
