Debian X package shouldn't install XDM by default

Do you know about the "failsafe" mode in XDM.
Just hit "F1" instead of "Enter" after typing in your password, and
you should just get an xterm with no window manager. Hopefully it will
have the focus, so the lack of mouse won't be a problem.
