There is a bug report filed against xmcd requesting that it use the free
cddb database instead. I intend to do this when I do the next upload of it
(which may be some time as there is a fair bit to do and I'm busy (like
everyone else)).

Now that cddb has gone commercial, please support freedb.freedb.org, it is a
100% free and open replacement for the commercial cddb database. There are
instructions there for xmcd.
