Dear all,

I joined the group in 2010 but got seriously sidetracked. This time
I'm determined to get the job done.

In summary, my goal is to create a debian package for this tool:

http://netdot.uoregon.edu

it depends on a number of Perl modules, some are already packaged, and
some are not. I would be interested in adding and maintaining the
following modules as part of this process:

Apache2::AuthCookie
Apache2::SiteControl
Net::IPTrie
Net::IRR
Net::Appliance::Session
Text::ParseWords
Net::DNS::ZoneFile::Fast

I have started reading the documentation, but I think I need some
guidance. I would really appreciate if someone could give me a hand
here.

I have started with one module (my own) to learn the process:

so, I've done:

# dh-make-perl --cpan Net::IPTrie --vcs git

and I'm getting:

Copyright information incomplete!

Upstream copyright information could not be automatically determined.

If you are building this package for your personal use, you might
disregard
this information; however, if you intend to upload this package to Debian
(or in general, if you plan on distributing it), you must look into the
complete copyright information.

The causes for this warning are:
Licensing information is present, but cannot be parsed
- --- Done

So, how does one fix that?

Also, the doc says that "--vcs git" should create a git repository,
etc. but I don't see any evidence of that being true.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,

Carlos Vicente
