Hmm. If we take amavisd-ng as an example of a perl application, I thing
this is better served by a dedicated, per-application team.

So my opinion appears to be that applications are not an objective for
the group. That said, File::Next is perfectly suitable.

BTW amavisd-ng needs[1] co-maintainers if someone is interested.
