I tried to build your package:
I get

Which most likely means that debuild can't find the tarball, which I put
in svn-buildpackage's tarballs directory. The problem seems to be:
$ apt-get source libstatistics-descriptive-perl

I.e., you changed the source file name. You should not do so, as it
causes confusion with build tools and problems when uploading the
package, unless you got very good reasons.
Please fix this, and please add me
(Joachim Breitner <nomeata@debian.org>) to uploaders, then I'll check
and upload the package.

I have injected a revised version of the libstatistics-descriptinve-perl
package that Dirk Eddelbuettel was planning to orphan.
If someone could check it out and give me feedback, I will make changes
and get it ready for upload.
As I am not a DD myself, it will need to uploaded by the Debian-perl group
adn I think that I have indicated this correctly in the control and
changelog files.
SInce this is my first time using svn, it is likely that I will have made
some mistake or not have completed some step so please tell me.
