I, as part of the lintian-maint crew, filed a bug against perl about this issue. [1] It's a problem of perl (the package) at it patches ExtUtils::MakeMaker to create manpages with .3pm/.1p suffixes, but the patch doesn't fix EU::MM to change the content of the manpages themselves.
