There are several failures because of missing graphics-toolkits in the examples. Maybe you want to add gnuplot-nox to the build dependencies.

Ok, I will try that.

I have added gnuplot-nox to Build-Depends in debian/control. Now... how do I "build in a minimal chroot" to see if the problem is gone?
