However, in the current situation, I fear your process will not be able to go foward. Indeed, it is better to contribute on some regular basis to packaging before asking to become a Maintainer. Currently, your contributions are two initial packaging. One in August 2016, one in August 2017, and nothing since then. It seems to me more reasonable that you contribute a bit more and with some regularity to packaging now, and then ask to become a Maintainer.
