Quite easy, you can use node-uglify or yui-compressor. I beleive there
are others in Debian's archive.

In fact, for some reason, jQuery's maintainer seems to prefer the former
one over the latter. (See commit
77c67aa92705d6dd454053716cfefa2faab7b3aa in
git://anonscm.debian.org/pkg-javascript/jquery.git).
