He's one of the most active (maybe even *the* most active) translators in our team, and he's very easy to work with. If there's any doubt about how to translate something into German, he's always open to discussion on the mailing list. I don't know his packages, so I cannot say anything about his packaging skills. Judging from his translation work, I would think that he's paying a lot of attention to details and wants to keep his packages in a good shape. I'm sure that Helge will be a good Debian maintainer.
