True, however it is not okay to NOT subscribe to debian-devel-announce. And
the GRs are announced there. You are quite entitled to not care about a GR,
but you are to know they exist.
Not that I would hold it against a prospective DD at all, as long as he
fixes the issue immediately (i.e. subscribe to d-d-a and read the archives
for the past two months at the very least).
Do we remind all people entering NM to subscribe to it immediately? Maybe we
should...
