My XXS1500 came with 2.4.21+some patches and I have been running
2.4.24-pre1 for some time now without problems. I skiped the kernels
inbetween but they should work.
If it doesn't look like 2.4.24 is going to run cleanly on anything
else but XXS1500 keeping 2.4.22 would be fine. I don't have a SD WLan
card that would need the newest drivers.
Overall I just care for a kernel-image for XXS1500 so I can do some
work on D-I for mipsel. Without it I can't boot D-I.
