The problem here is that we have to _support_ all these images. We have 2.4.17 and 2.4.19 in woody already, ask joey about the pain of doing security updates (not to mention troubles with packages that require special kernel-headers installed to build). I'd really like to see exactly _one_ kernel-patch-2.4.X-mips in sarge for mips and mipsel if possible. But in the end this is only all about people doing it. If you'll handle 2.4.24 for your (and preferably other) subarches all across the sarge release that's great! Cheers, -- Guido
