Probably it already exists - Are you reading debian-devel-announce ?
I didnt notice it exist until i search the archive - Are you in the
LDAP tree ? db.debian.org ? If so - try this one

Hmmm - I asked Joey about it - And he said - As long as the packages
itself are ok there is no reason why not to install them - But probably
we have to fight with James :)

There is backward compatibility with glibc 2.0 /2.2 - So we can
upload the 2.0 packages.

I am currently not able to even build glibc 2.2 so i think it might
take a bit until it stabelizes - We should start build glibc 2.2 packages
as soon as there are glibc 2.2. source packages for debian (Wil come
after potato is released).
