Currently _could_ the error be at both sides. ( server side and client
side )   The email thread shows that (Debian) server side is
investigated.  While waiting for the result investigate client side
with a server that you are in controle of.
So create a 'hille42' account on a SSH-server that you own, put public
key on it[1]. And mimic `hille@sid:~ $ ssh -vvv hille42@my.SSH.server`
to find out that client side works.  So making
