Well, if you could be a bit more careful when reading the message you
just answered, then you would notice that the package was *deleted*
using the web interface *prior* to reupload.

I doubt that it is by design that packages *explicetely deleted by the
uploader* leave such a trace in the system that they cannot be
replaced after. This is definitely a bug that must be fixed.

Well, then it is a shame that the system has not been given even a
slight test since all these years...
