I just built the package and tried it out on powerpc and alpha, and it
worked fine there (although it exiting with status=1 caused me to think
it was broken until I saw it does that on i386 as well).  I ran it on
copies of the same mp3 on all 3 architectures, all produced identical
results.  So it seems to be pretty portable inspite of having "i386" in
the names of a few source files.
