Re: Testing for existance of a file.

Hrmm -- I purged all kbd and all console-tools, and I have two entries in
/usr/share/consolefonts:

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1264 Mar 30 12:25 8x12alt.psf.gz
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1741 Mar 30 12:25 Cyr_a8x32.psf.gz

one of those is unique to svgatextmode, so I included it (the 8x12alt).

I suppose the other one didn't get purged cause I'm currently using it.

I don't really want to resize STM at the moment - heh - this card is
flaky enough. Strange, though, that I didn't get any dependency issues.
Perhaps because theres no depends: just recommends:

I looked at a few other things -- would it be possible (well, advisable)
to rename my fonts, then in postintst, do the test, then either rename
or delete my duplicates.

BW re: Yeah, I have 80x25, but I never use it -- t'is horrible. I just
try to cut my lines at ~ 80 -- sometimes I get it, sometimes now *shrug*

If you want to look at it, my current .deb is at www.debian.org/~talon
