Uh?
If I install libfoo-dbg I espect to trace a dn debug the code _in_ the
library.
If I only have to debug my prog (linked with libfoo) I don't have to
install libfoo-dbg.

I maintain 2 different lib__-dbg packages which even install part of the
lib's source to permit you to trace the lib's code.
No need of them if you only have to debug your code.
