You should use dpkg-buildpackage > to compile Debian packages, and it creates the changes file for you. actually I finaly figured everything out, I used debmake's build, since that is what the previous maintainer was using.. The new xinetd is in incoming, hopefully I didnt create any more bugs.. :)
