Its fine to discuss here - the question is whether you will find people
who have detailed knowledge about this topic here on this list.
However, debian-devel is IMHO also the wrong list since it is about
development issues of Debian and not about live CD creation.  If there
are any questions debian-live list[1] has probably competent readers and
might be the right place to ask.

Just keep on discussing here.  If there are live CD specific issues
you might be more successful when CCing debian-live.
