Removing the package from Wheezy will not deinstall it from peoples
computers.  May be we can "cross thumbs" that people have
http://backports.debian.org/ in their sources.list.  I think the real
harm in practice might not be that high.  We have currently

   Popcon: 9 users (4 upd.)

and Jessie might be released soon anyway.  I will not stop anybody to do
the needed steps but I think we need to outweight the work it needs and
the harm that is effectively done if we don't do this work.
