yeah -- it is a pity to not have it in Debian (yet) then since we
do have LibreOffice/LaTeX/PostgreSQL/gcc already ;)
myself I have no experience with it, since I am in academic neuroimaging
research and we primarily rely on FSL/AFNI/...
