Users of this version should follow the <a href="https://wiki.debian.org/LTS/Using";>instructions from the LTS wiki page</a> to ensure that they get the LTS security updates.</p> <p>Several organizations have already expressed interest in contributing to the LTS initiative. We would like to thank <a href="http://www.intars.at/";>AD&D - IntarS Austria</a>, <a href="http://www.deezer.com/";>Deezer</a>, <a href="http://www.edf.com/";>Électricité de France</a>, <a href="http://freeside.biz/";>Freeside</a>, <a href="http://www.offensive-security.com/";>Offensive Security</a>, <a href="http://www.positive-internet.com/";>Positive Internet</a>, <a href="http://www.seznam.cz/";>Seznam.cz</a>, <a href="http://www.sipwise.com/";>Sipwise</a>, <a href="http://www.ox.ac.uk/";>University of Oxford</a> and all the other who will join them in the coming months.</p> <p>However, to ensure its success and cover more packages, more help is needed: organizations benefiting from the extended support period are encouraged to contribute manpower to the <a href="https://wiki.debian.org/LTS/Development";>LTS team</a>. <p>For organizations that cannot contribute their own workforce to the LTS team, <a href="http://www.freexian.com";>Freexian</a> — a French company owned by Debian Developer Raphaël Hertzog — offered to act as an intermediary between organizations interested in funding LTS work, and individual Debian contributors preparing LTS security updates.
