i think lb config should give a message about that when run in verbose mode.
it currently says:
Updating config tree for a ${LB_MODE}/${LB_ARCHITECTURES} system
i suggest to output something like:
One or more stages need to be rebuild in order to reflect the
configuration changes
right after that, only when running in verbose mode.
what do you think (and can you propose a better text in proper english :)?
